The Chemicals Division of TNN (TNN-Chemicals) specializes in worldwide sourcing and distribution of industrial chemicals that fall into four major groups viz.,

  • Oilfield / Refining / Mining Chemicals
  • Essential Chemicals
  • Soap / Detergent / Laundry Chemicals
  • Water Treatment Chemicals

TNN is a global supplier of chemicals used in oilfield, refining and mining industry including providing key ingredients to brand name formulators of finished oilfield products applied in oilfield operations by major oilfield service companies. These products include corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, paraffin wax dispersants, drag reducers, drilling additives, cementing super-plasticizers and repair systems for cementing failures. Some of the chemicals are directly used in a variety of field applications in the oil production process. For example, Sodium metabisulfite is used in the oil and gas industry as a corrosion inhibitor/oxygen scavenger and CMC Sodium is used as a thickening agent in the oil-drilling industry as an ingredient of drilling mud, where it acts as a viscosity modifier and water retention agent. Similarly, the ubiquitous Xanthan Gum (petroleum grade) is used as a shear-thinning agent. TNN is a reliable and well-placed partner for providing quality chemicals. Laundry detergents and soaps are the most common household products.
Surfactants are one of the major components of laundry and cleaning products. They break up stains and suspend the dirt in the water to prevent re-deposition of the dirt onto the surface. Surfactants disperse dirt that normally does not dissolve in water. The introduction of enzymes into laundry detergents dramatically changed how we do laundry. Enzymes allow us to use lower water temperatures and less detergent to get clothes clean. Enzymes can be natural or processed biochemically. Different enzymes target specific soils and the catalytic action breaks the soil into smaller molecules to be washed away. Our worldwide partners depend on TNN for their quality raw material supplies of AOS, LABSA, EDTA, SLES and a host of anionic, cationic, zwitter-ionic and non-ionic surfactants, enzymes, fragrances, etc. A shortlist of the items we supply is shown below.
